In about 2002, I developed a modern, stylized way of painting that was once described as “somewhere between a coloring book and stained glass.” After selling nearly all of those paintings before I left NJ, I felt free to explore other approaches. (More recently I’ve been working in watercolor, using a build-up of layers to get a strong, bold look that feels like “me.”) But I still enjoy painting in my ol’ style sometimes, and people still like to buy them, often commissioning favorite foods or beloved pets! Let me know if you have an interest in commissioning an original piece for yourself or as a gift.
